Harry loathed trips to the grocery store. It wasn't that he didn't want to help the little people get their cans from the topmost of shelves, but it was basically that he didn't want to help the little people get their cans from the topmost of shelves. Not because the act itself was tedious, challenging, or a waste of time, but because he simply hated the small talk that accompanied it, or the ways people approached him. He did his best to seem unapproachable, but it seemed some of the little old ladies of Hyperion were immune to the dark aura he tried to cast while inside.  Bieste - unable to tolerate the thought that he would be here for much longer if he allowed himself to be too focused on quality - made his way around the grocer with a basket in hand. He'd been asked to get some things for a special dinner tonight, something called "bouchée à la reine". He had no idea what it was, but he was going to do as he was told. It was approaching 4 o'clock in the afternoon and Bieste had just taken his leave from the rescue for the day. He most certainly smelled like some sort of animal, though his wild hair was tied back into a bun with a neutral-colored scrunchy. One of the young ladies he worked with said it would be better for his hair than the rubber bands he had used previously, and he had to admit he quite liked them. His thoughts floated from animal to animal as he searched the produce section, making a valiant attempt to find button mushrooms (though he hadn't the faintest what a button mushroom even looked like compared to other mushrooms) and some sort of a fancy pepper. While things were labeled, he struggled to find what he was looking for and was beginning to wonder if he would need to entreat one of the little people to help him locate what it was he was seemingly incapable of finding. He winced at the thought, looking around sheepishly to see if anyone were nearby who might be familiar with foods and where he could find them.
